Apply physiotherapy expertise in paediatrics as a part time Physiotherapist in Owen Sound, using assessment and individualized treatment planning. Occasional coverage of other units is required.

Reporting to the Manager of Allied Health, this Physiotherapist assesses patients and delivers programs supporting physical function, pain relief, and prevention of deconditioning. The assignment is currently paediatrics, with occasional multi-unit coverage. Evidence-based practice, outcome measures, interprofessional care, and adult learning principles are important parts of the position.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess patients and identify physiotherapy needs
- Plan individualized treatment programs for physical functioning
- Carry out treatments supporting recovery and pain relief




- Prevent physical deconditioning through appropriate physiotherapy care
- Provide occasional coverage for other hospital units

Requirements:

- University degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
- Current Ontario registration or eligibility for registration
- Evidence-based physiotherapy and interprofessional care competence
- Excellent communication, judgment, organization, and conflict resolution skills
- Availability for seven-day rotation and multi-site coverage
