Lead accounts payable and receivable operations at Canada Royal Milk, using ERP systems, GAAP knowledge, and precise financial controls.
Reporting to the CFO, this supervisor leads the AP and AR team and manages related accounting functions. The work includes maintaining ledgers, processing payment documents, managing credit applications, and supporting accurate transactions. Manufacturing accounting experience and robust communication are central to success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise AP and AR team activities
- Oversee customer credit applications and payment cycles
- Manage month-end closing and account reconciliations
- Prepare financial reports, accruals, and journal entries
- Train staff on financial controls and procedures
Requirements:
- Accounting degree or certificate from a post-secondary institution
- Minimum five years in AP accounting or similar roles
- Three-plus years of professional manufacturing accounting experience
- Strong GAAP understanding; IFRS exposure is an asset
- Oracle PeopleSoft or similar ERP experience
