Guide clinical research operations at CHEO RI using regulatory expertise, GCP knowledge, and strong study start-up support in a hybrid model.

The Research Navigator supports CHEO RI researchers and teams across complex clinical research processes. This temporary full-time, 15-month position covers study activation, Research Ethics Board submissions, Health Canada requirements, research agreements, budgets, and clinical trial operations. Reporting to the Director, Research Operations, the role also supports the Clinical Trials Access Core and Clinical Investigation Unit. You will contribute to RareKids-CAN, operational metrics, process improvement, and strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Guide researchers through study start-up and institutional processes
- Support REB, Health Canada, and research agreement requirements




- Review clinical trial applications and essential documents
- Facilitate compliant clinical research operations with internal partners
- Develop guidance documents, workflows, and educational resources

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in health sciences or related field
- Minimum five years as a Research Coordinator
- Knowledge of investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored clinical trials
- Exceptional GCP and regulated clinical research knowledge
- Robust Microsoft 365, communication, and organizational skills
