Lead regulatory and subsidiary reporting at Sun Life, applying accounting knowledge, IFRS, and CIRO rules in a hybrid work model.

As Manager, Regulatory and Subsidiary Reporting, you will support Sun Life’s Retail Advice & Solutions Finance team. You will oversee reporting for SLFISI, SLCSI, and SLFDI, using reconciliations, controls, analytics, and operational efficiency. The role includes financial reporting, regulatory compliance, audits, and process updates.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee monthly and quarterly accounting close, reconciliations, reporting, and analytics
- Complete monthly CIRO regulatory filings for SLFISI and SLCSI
- Assist with annual IFRS and CIRO financial statements
- Coordinate audit deliverables, samples, and stakeholder responses




- Coach one direct report and one CPA student

Requirements:

- Professional Accounting designation (CPA) with 5+ years related industry experience
- Working knowledge of IFRS and CIRO regulatory rules
- Robust Microsoft Office, SAP, SharePoint, and Tableau skills
- Excellent communication, relationship management, and organizational skills
- Curiosity about process enhancements using Microsoft Copilot
