Lead corporate occupational health and safety at B2Gold’s Vancouver office, guiding standards, audits, crisis management, and site operations through a hybrid schedule.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Operations and Chief Operating Officer, this Director oversees B2Gold’s corporate function. The position provides expertise across international mining operations, standardizes practices, evaluates systems, and advises management. It also supports training, investigations, reporting, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Establish corporate policies, standards, directives, objectives, and performance measures
- Guide sites on hazard controls, programs, procedures, and practices
- Maintain the Corporate Crisis Management Plan and exercises
- Oversee audits, investigations, corrective actions,



and management system software
- Report occupational health and safety performance to management and the Board committee

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree or adequate experience with Gold Seal Certification
- Minimum 15 years’ progressive health and safety experience
- Five or more years in senior leadership
- Canadian Registered Safety Skilled designation and Mine Rescue Certification
- Strong technical reporting, presentation, strategic thinking, and attention to detail
