Job Description

The client is opening 4 Guidewire developer positions to migrate BillingCenter to Guidewire Cloud SaaS. All levels are considered, from junior to senior, with one non-negotiable condition: the Guidewire Associate, InsuranceSuite Developer certification. The minimum of 2 years of development on one of the Guidewire platforms remains in the mandate, which positions the junior profile as a certified developer who has already delivered on the platform. The work covers the full cycle, from estimation to documentation, in Java and in an Agile environment, in collaboration with QA and business analysts. Ideally, the client wants at least one of the 4 people to hold the Ace BillingCenter Configuration certification, making it a team objective rather than an individual requirement.

Candidate sought: a Guidewire developer certified Associate InsuranceSuite Developer, with at least 2 years of development on PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter or BillingCenter and demonstrated Java practice, bilingual and available 2 days a week in Saint-Hyacinthe, Montréal or Québec City. BillingCenter, Cloud SaaS or Guidewire migration experience moves the profile to the top of the list,



and an Ace BillingCenter Configuration certified profile should be prioritized in the first submissions.

Key Requirements:

- Guidewire Associate, InsuranceSuite Developer certification

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant combination of experience and education
- Minimum 2 years of development on one of the Guidewire platforms
- English and French bilingualism, spoken and written
- Analytical, problem-solving and collaboration skills

Profiles to Exclude:

- Profile without the Guidewire Associate, InsuranceSuite Developer certification listed on the resume or verifiable.
- Profile mentioning Guidewire in business analysis, testing or administration, without development work on the platform.
- Guidewire profile without Java experience demonstrated by projects on the resume.
- Profile with less than 2 years of total Guidewire development experience.
- Profile without skilled French or English, spoken and written, or unable to be on site 2 days a week at one of the three offices.
