This permanent full time role supports PRI’s structural team on building, institutional, industrial, and resource-sector projects. You will work alongside experienced engineers on design calculations, structural modeling, documentation, and field activities. The position suits a civil or structural engineering student seeking supervised, practical project experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support calculations and design checks for steel, concrete, wood, and masonry
- Assist structural modeling and analysis using specified engineering software
- Prepare structural drawings and details in AutoCAD or Revit
- Research NBCC and CSA requirements for assigned projects




- Document field observations during construction visits and reviews

Requirements:

- Currently enrolled in Civil or Structural Engineering bachelor’s program
- Completed at least second-year standing in the degree program
- Coursework in statics, mechanics, and structural analysis or design
- Attention to detail and comfort double-checking numerical work
- Valid driver’s license and occasional site travel willingness
