As a Senior Software Developer in Test, you will shape testing practices across Varicent’s web applications, APIs, backend services, and data pipelines. You will combine software development, test architecture, automation engineering, technical leadership, and AI-driven innovation. Your work supports reliable software delivery through stronger quality standards and scalable testing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define testing strategy across unit, integration, API, UI, and data layers
- Build automated frameworks for web applications, APIs, services, and pipelines
- Integrate testing into CI/CD workflows and quality gates
- Analyze quality metrics,

- Mentor engineers and establish automation and code quality standards

Requirements:

- Five or more years in software development or test automation
- Experience designing automated frameworks for web, API, backend, or data applications
- CI/CD pipeline experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar
- Solid API testing, distributed systems, data validation, and SQL knowledge
- Experience with AI-enabled tools, agentic systems, or LLM engineering solutions
