Analyze fraud trends and test business hypotheses as a Strategy Analyst Intern at Capital One Canada, working hybrid from Toronto.

This Summer 2027 internship lasts approximately 16 weeks, from May through August. You will work with strategy analysts, Data Scientists, Product Managers, and internal stakeholders. Projects involve gathering information, analyzing trends, formulating hypotheses, and communicating recommendations to business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze fraudulent credit card applications and transactions
- Enhance fraud models and tools to reduce costs
- Develop frameworks supporting alternative card recommendations
- Build challenger models for credit card spending predictions




- Communicate project recommendations to business stakeholders

Requirements:

- Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or postgraduate degree
- Expected graduation date in or after December 2027
- Study Commerce, Finance, Economics, Business, or related fields
- Demonstrate superior analytical and problem-solving skills
- Communicate complex ideas verbally and in writing
