Manage IT assets onsite in Ottawa and Gatineau using inventory control, database updates, and secure hardware handling practices. Reliability Status is required.

This Level 1 contract supports a Government of Canada department’s Workplace Technology Services. The specialist manages hardware through ITIL processes, including shipments, tagging, storage, delivery, inventories, disposal preparation, and data sanitization. The six-month contract is extendable and requires five or more years of experience. Work occurs onsite during regular weekday hours, with extended hours as required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Receive IT assets and validate shipments against packing slips
- Tag, track, and update asset records throughout lifecycle
- Manage secure warehousing, inventory,



and physical controls
- Prepare assets for disposal and sanitize hard-drive data
- Liaise with clients, providers, and Workplace Technology teams

Requirements:

- Five or more years of experience
- Reliability Status security clearance
- Experience with asset tracking and database updates
- Valid driver’s licence for regional minivan driving
- Fluency in English and/or French
