Use Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD as an Intermediate Mechanical CAD Designer creating accurate models and production drawings for WADE Antenna.

WADE Communications seeks an intermediate designer for its engineering team. You will update existing documentation, incorporate approved changes, and maintain current product configurations. The work involves historical drawings, revision records, drafting standards, manufacturing documentation, and collaboration with engineering and manufacturing colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

- Convert legacy 2D drawings into accurate 3D part and assembly models
- Create, revise, and maintain production drawings using Inventor and AutoCAD
- Resolve discrepancies across drawings, revisions, models, and bills of materials
- Prepare dimensions, tolerances, materials,



and assembly details for manufacturing
- Maintain organized CAD files and accurate revision histories

Requirements:

- Four to eight years of relevant CAD or mechanical design experience
- Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor for modelling, assemblies, and drawings
- Proficiency with AutoCAD for mechanical drawing creation and updates
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, drafting, fits, tolerances, and GD&T;
- Eligibility to obtain Controlled Positive certification
