Toronto / Hybrid Full-time Junior / Early Career

Join our engineering team and contribute to real-world frontend and backend features while developing strong full-stack engineering skills.

We are looking for a Junior Full Stack Engineer who is eager to learn and grow while contributing to production software. You will work with experienced engineers to build user interfaces, backend APIs, database integrations, automated tests, and internal tools. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with up-to-date enterprise application development and secure software practices.

What you’ll do

- Implement backend endpoints and business logic using Java and Spring Boot.
- Connect frontend applications to REST APIs and handle loading, validation, and error states.
- Work with relational databases and write basic SQL queries and data-access code.
- Write unit tests, integration tests, and basic API tests.
- Debug application issues and participate in code reviews with senior engineers.
- Follow established coding standards, security practices, and development processes.
- Assist with documentation, technical investigations, and feature implementation.
- Collaborate with designers,



product managers, QA, and other developers.
- Learn the architecture and technologies used across our enterprise platforms.

What you’ll need

- Diploma, degree, bootcamp training, or equivalent practical experience in software development.
- Basic knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, or object-oriented programming.
- Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, and common web-development concepts.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative software-development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
- Ability to communicate clearly and receive technical feedback.
- Personal, academic, internship, or professional software projects are welcome.

Nice to have

- Experience with Next.js, Spring Boot, or PostgreSQL.
- Exposure to authentication systems or cloud services.
- Familiarity with automated testing and debugging tools.
- Basic knowledge of Linux and command-line tools.
- Experience working with Figma designs or collaborating with product designers.
