Optimize MRO purchasing and inventory efficiency as a Buyer reporting to the Maintenance Manager within Agropur’s cooperative manufacturing environment.

This regular Buyer position goes beyond traditional purchasing through cost optimization, supplier negotiations, and continuous improvement. You will manage maintenance, repair, and operations parts and services while supporting planned jobs, maintenance teams, and storeroom controls. The work also includes sourcing strategies, CMMS data, and inventory optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop sourcing strategies and negotiate supplier pricing and contracts
- Manage MRO parts and services for planned maintenance jobs
- Maintain CMMS data, BOM updates, and inventory levels
- Implement reorder processes and reduce obsolete parts




- Oversee receiving, kitting, and inventory control with Stores Clerk

Requirements:

- Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Maintenance, or related field
- Minimum five years in procurement and inventory management
- Manufacturing or industrial environment experience ideally preferred
- Equivalent education and experience combination may be considered
- Adequate French knowledge required for Quebec positions
