This experienced Design Engineer develops auto-feed power tools from concept through commercialization. The work combines mechanical and electrical product design, prototyping, testing, manufacturing support, and supplier collaboration. You will create specifications, integrate motors and electronics, and improve product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead professional-grade power tool development from concept through commercialization
- Perform tolerance analysis, DFM, material selection, and FEA
- Integrate motors, controllers, batteries, PCBs, and thermal systems
- Execute durability, lifecycle, torque, drop, environmental, and thermal validation




- Support prototypes, pilot production, tooling, suppliers, and manufacturing processes

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics engineering
- Three-plus years of product design experience
- Two-plus years developing power tools or electromechanical products
- Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, drafting standards, and GD&T;
- Valid passport and ability to travel internationally and within North America
