- The candidate will be required to assist various RBC sales forces in using corporate-approved financial advice and planning tools to respond to client queries, uncover hidden assets, retain business, and develop referrals.
- The candidate will be required to conduct Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of updated or newly created tools developed internally or acquired from external vendors.
- The candidate will be required to provide ongoing coaching to users directly or by referring them to job aids and other resource materials.
- The candidate will be required to create and update job aids, user guides, and other resources, and ensure financial planning tools, reports, questionnaires, and marketing materials are regularly updated.
- The candidate will be required to work with Personal and Commercial Banking or Dominion Securities’ Learning Services groups to develop and update training programs and supporting materials, and facilitate training sessions for the sales force.
- The candidate will be required to participate in various working groups and cross-departmental projects.





Job Requirements

- The candidate must be bilingual in English and French, as they will regularly interact with RBC partners and employees across Canada.
- The candidate will be required to hold a degree in a related discipline such as Finance or Wealth Management.
- The candidate must hold one of the following designations: CFP, IQPF, QAFP, F. PI., CLU, RRC, or PFP.
- The candidate must have strong knowledge of financial planning software, with Conquest preferred.
- The candidate must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the financial planning or wealth management industry.
- The candidate must have knowledge of Canadian taxation and pension legislation.
- The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong interpersonal abilities.
- The candidate must have strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data.
- The candidate must be able to manage and prioritize workload while handling competing deadlines.
- The candidate must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- The candidate must have a strong interest in financial planning tool development.
- The candidate must have a natural curiosity for learning and expanding their knowledge.
