Are you experienced in industrial purchasing, MRO procurement, and maintenance planning?

We are currently looking for a technically minded MRO Buyer / Maintenance Planner to support a manufacturing operation in Windsor, Ontario.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role combines industrial purchasing, spare parts inventory management, and maintenance coordination. You will play an important role in ensuring critical maintenance materials are available, preventive maintenance activities are properly scheduled, and production downtime is minimized.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
- Prepare maintenance work orders, job plans, and weekly schedules.
- Manage MRO purchasing, including spare parts, tools, lubricants, and maintenance supplies.
- Maintain critical spare parts inventory, reorder points, and stock levels.
- Source suppliers, obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, and monitor delivery timelines.




- Review equipment downtime and maintenance history to identify improvement opportunities.
- Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and maintenance records.
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Production, Quality, and Warehouse teams.

What We're Looking For:

- Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience.
- Minimum 3 years of maintenance planning or coordination experience.
- Experience with MRO purchasing and industrial spare parts inventory.
- Technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic components.
- Familiarity with CMMS, ERP, and inventory management systems.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, and parts specifications.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Food manufacturing or packaging experience is an asset.
