Transportation product management specialists evaluate business opportunities, network capacity, and service feasibility at CPKC. This role supports sustainable growth across North American rail operations.

The Specialist Product Management role partners with Sales and Marketing, Operations, Service Design, Asset Management, Risk, and external rail partners. You will develop transportation solutions, train designs, service frameworks, and contract recommendations. The position also improves Salesforce and business processes supporting chance evaluation and onboarding.

Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate opportunities against profitability, growth, capacity, and operational objectives
- Create trip plans and train models showing transit expectations
- Validate resources and service capabilities with cross-functional stakeholders




- Recommend achievable service-related contract language for approval
- Enhance Salesforce processes for request visibility and accuracy

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, transportation, logistics, engineering, or related field
- Minimum two years of progressive transportation or product management experience
- Experience evaluating operational feasibility and service delivery requirements
- Salesforce or business workflow platform experience is an asset
- Understanding of transportation networks, logistics, and supply chain principles
