Igneous Adventure Corp DBA Liquid Lifestyles is looking for a River Operations Manager to join our team for a fun and exciting 2027 season on the Clearwater River!

:Liquid Lifestyles is a premium whitewater rafting and kayaking operator who pride themselves on safety being the number one priority. We’re looking for a River Operations Managers with the same outlook and ability to prioritize safety while still keeping it fun and engaging for guests. Our daily trips and courses take place on the Clearwater river with options for full day, half-day adventure trips and family friendly options for the little adrenaline junkies.

As Guiding Operation

Manager, you will be in charge of overseeing the river operations team and ensuring all protocols and procedures are being followed as well as implementing any new policies.

Contract length: 6 months

Expected start date: April 15 2027

Expected end date: October 15 2027

Job type: Full-time seasonal

Wage:$38.40/hr

Work location: 440 Eden rd Clearwater BC and on the Clearwater River

Language of work: English speaking (German, French or Spanish an asset)

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the River Team
- Provide technical and professional advice on new trips and best lines for the River Team
- Prepare budget estimates and develop policies and procedures to implement programs
- Manage the operations of the River Team
- Organize and administer training,



coaching and new opportunities for the River Team
- Recruit, interview and hire river guides, instructors and support staff
- Develop long range plans and negotiate business contracts
- Developing emergency response plans and implementing them

Certifications:

- 5+ Years of Managerial experience in Adventure Tourism
- Senior or Trip Leader Guide License
- 5+ Years Whitewater Guiding / Instructing Experience in Class 4 Rivers (Rafting & Kayaking)
- Swiftwater Rescue Technician
- Wilderness First Aid 50hr. (80hr. Preferred)
- Class IV Drivers License (Not required but an asset)
- Must be physically fit, work well under pressure and work well in a fast paced environment
