Analyze transportation data at Pet Valu’s hybrid Markham office, supporting freight negotiations, cost tracking, and efficiency initiatives across inbound transportation.

The Transportation Data Analyst supports initiatives connecting Transportation Management System capabilities with operational opportunities. You will analyze transportation costs, maintain reports, support vendor transitions, and contribute to carrier negotiations. Collaboration with merchandising, business leaders, and internal departments helps translate requirements into actionable plans.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze transportation costs for initiatives and savings tracking
- Maintain reports on project progress and performance results
- Support prepaid-to-collect vendor term transitions




- Assist freight vendor rate negotiations and RFP execution
- Use TMS tools to identify efficiency opportunities

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
- Minimum four years in analytics or data-focused roles
- Experience with data analysis and reporting
- Experience participating in external vendor negotiations
- TMS, WMS, optimization, or network modeling experience preferred
