Controller – 3 Month Contract

Responsibilities

- Oversee month-end and year-end close, including financial reporting, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Coordinate year-end audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.
- Prepare budget variance analysis, cash flow forecasts, and management reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, internal controls, and efficiencies.
- Provide hands-on accounting support and guidance to junior staff.

Qualifications

- CPA designation required.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a Controller or senior accounting management role.
- Strong knowledge of ASNPO, including fund accounting and restricted contributions.
- Hands-on experience with financial reporting,



month-end close, and external audits.
- Advanced Excel skills; SAP experience considered an asset.
- Previous staff supervision or mentoring experience.

Pay Rate

$50.00 / Hour

You must currently reside within the Greater Toronto Area and be permitted to work in Canada to be considered for this opportunity.
