This new role will support the insourcing of selected currently outsourced activities into Siemens Healthineers, including knowledge transfer and implementation.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Cross-Border Mobility Operations Coordinator to support tax and operational processes for our internationally mobile workforce, primarily across the United States and Canada.

This is a hands‑on role for someone with experience in global mobility, expatriate/international employee taxation, or international assignment operations. You will help transition selected mobility activities into Siemens Healthineers,

participate in knowledge transfer, establish effective processes and controls, and take ownership of ongoing mobility tax operations.

What You’ll Do

- Coordinate U.S. and Canadian mobility tax payments, refunds, employee reimbursements, collections, and reconciliations.
- Review and coordinate resolution of tax notices, including required follow‑up and payment activity.
- Support tax equalization and tax adequacy processes and maintain accurate case tracking and documentation.
- Partner with Payroll, Accounting, Finance, HR Operations, external tax providers, and other stakeholders to resolve cross-border mobility cases.
- Process and reconcile mobility‑related invoices and support timely billing and payments.
- Participate in knowledge transfer and process transition, helping document workflows and establish appropriate tracking and controls.
- Identify opportunities to improve and streamline processes as the mobility operations model evolves.

What You Bring

- Experience in global mobility, expatriate tax, international employee taxation, international assignment operations, or a closely related area.
- Working knowledge of mobility concepts such as tax equalization, international assignments, business travelers, tax payments/refunds, and employee settlements.

- Hands‑on experience with operational processes involving payments, reconciliations, tax notices, employee transactions, or similar financially sensitive activity.
- Experience partnering across functions such as Payroll, Accounting, Finance, HR Operations, Global Mobility, and/or external tax providers.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines accurately.
- Ability to work in an evolving environment and help build, document, and improve processes.
- Proficiency with Excel and comfort working with case‑management, workflow, or external provider platforms.

Preferred

- Experience supporting internationally mobile employees in the U.S. and/or Canada.
- Experience within a global mobility tax provider, professional services firm, corporate mobility team, or shared‑services environment.
- Exposure to the IRS, CRA, ServiceNow, tax‑provider platforms, or Power BI.
- Experience supporting a knowledge‑transfer, process‑transition, or insourcing initiative.

Why This Role

This is an opportunity to combine global mobility knowledge with hands‑on operations and process improvement. You’ll help bring important cross-border mobility processes in‑house while contributing to how the function is built and improved for the future.
