Lead toolroom operations at Magna by coordinating Tool and Die Makers, maintaining tooling, and supporting production troubleshooting activities. Work includes robotics and machine tools.

The Toolroom Lead oversees daily toolroom activities for Magna Exteriors, ensuring tools, dies, and equipment remain available for production. This position coordinates staff, supports scheduling, and performs advanced Tool and Die or Mould Maker work. Responsibilities include tooling repairs, prototypes, specifications, safety, quality, and collaboration with Automation teams. Fanuc and cooperative robot programming experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate machine tools and cranes for die movement
- Support robotics, designs, prototypes, and continuous improvement

Requirements:

- Completed four-year Tool and Die Maker apprenticeship
- Eight-plus years of tool and die making experience
- Fanuc and collaborative robot programming experience
- One to two years leading groups preferred
- Knowledge of IATF16949, ISO14001, and PIP requirements
