Support corporate accounting across Ocean Choice's diverse seafood business as Assistant Corporate Controller in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. Strengthen reporting accuracy.

This position reports directly to the Corporate Controller within the corporate finance team. You will prepare financial statements, analyze freight operations, reconcile intercompany accounts, and maintain business unit files. The work also supports controls, treasury, purchasing, budgeting, and external audit preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare monthly consolidated statements and HST filings
- Complete financial analysis for the internal freight division
- Reconcile intercompany accounts in a multi-company environment
- Update consolidation and business unit files




- Prepare audit support and annual consolidated budget materials

Requirements:

- Commerce or Business degree with Accounting major
- Relevant accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing
- Strong communication and team-oriented working abilities
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
- CPA designation would be considered an asset
