The Health Information Management Advisor works under the HIM Coordinator, Professional Practice, supporting regional and local teams. This position guides information collection, access, and use through records management, release of information, registration, and technology. It also supports systems, training, privacy, and change.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide leadership on health information standards within communities
- Support records management, information release, and registration
- Evaluate adherence to health information standards
- Develop, test, implement, maintain,



and enhance systems
- Provide user support and training services

Requirements:

- Graduate of a recognized Health Information Management program
- Canadian College certification and active membership eligibility
- One year recent related HIMS department experience
- Current valid British Columbia Driver’s License
- Computer skills with Cerner, Med2020, and Windows programs
