Apply electrical testing expertise at RIC Power Corporation, primarily facility-based, testing low and medium voltage switchgear and control systems.

As a Senior Test Technician, you will independently test protection and control schemes, high-voltage apparatus, and mechanical safety systems. You will troubleshoot design or production issues, support Factory Acceptance Testing, and provide technical input for test plans and reports. The position includes approximately 95% in-shop work and 5% in office or remote field support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform functional testing of protection and control schemes
- Conduct Hi-Pot, PD, BIL, Heat Run, and Contact Resistance testing
- Verify interlocks, mechanical functionality, and point-to-point continuity




- Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with Engineering on resolutions
- Mentor Test Technicians and support Factory Acceptance Tests

Requirements:

- Electrical Engineering diploma or degree
- Three or more years testing switchgear and power apparatus
- Expertise interpreting complex electrical drawings
- Ability to work independently and safely on energized tasks
- Strong troubleshooting, detail orientation, and MS Office proficiency
