Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based at Cranbrook Nissan in Cranbrook, BC. The Salesperson will greet and engage customers, assess their needs, and present suitable vehicle options, features, and pricing in a clear and professional manner. Daily activities include conducting test drives, preparing and reviewing sales documents, coordinating with finance and service departments, and following up with leads and existing customers.

The role also involves maintaining product knowledge on Nissan models, current promotions, and market trends, as well as contributing to showroom presentation and dealership events. The Salesperson is expected to meet sales targets while providing an equitable, respectful,



and welcoming experience to all customers.

Qualifications

- Solid customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships.
- Effective communication skills, including clear verbal communication, active listening, and professional email and phone etiquette.
- Basic sales and negotiation abilities, with a goal-oriented mindset and comfort discussing pricing and financing options.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple customers, follow-ups, and administrative tasks efficiently.
- Comfort using computers and dealership systems, including CRM tools, email, and online product information.
- Interest in and ability to learn vehicle features, specifications, and automotive industry trends.
- High level of professionalism, reliability, and ethical conduct in all customer and team interactions.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record; ability to conduct test drives as required.
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales is an asset but not strictly required.
- Willingness to work regular dealership hours, including some evenings and weekends as needed.
