Lead financial reporting, forecasting, and expense analysis as a Senior Financial Analyst with Manulife in a hybrid Halifax role. Partner with leaders across GWAM Operations.

Reporting to the Director, GWAM Operations Expenses, you will manage financial activities across Global Wealth & Asset Management and the General Account. The role focuses on cost-centre forecasting, variance analysis, annual planning, and decision support. You will collaborate with functional leaders, cost-centre leads, and segment expense teams while using Anaplan and advanced Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead monthly forecasting for assigned Operations cost centres
- Prepare variance analysis and commentary on results and trends
- Support annual planning, headcount rollforwards, and presentations
- Identify expense risks,



opportunities, and recommended actions
- Track savings initiatives and organizational FTE movement

Requirements:

- Three to five years of progressive finance or accounting experience
- Three-plus years of advanced Excel experience
- Solid PowerPoint skills for senior management presentations
- University degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- CPA, CFA, or MBA completed or in progress
