Lead full-cycle accounting and financial reporting for Big Box Outlet Store in Abbotsford, British Columbia, with ERP and Excel expertise. This permanent, full time position reports to the CFO and oversees company-wide financial operations.

The senior Accounting Manager leads the accounting team and maintains accurate, timely records across a multi-location retail organization. Responsibilities include general ledger management, reconciliations, tax compliance, reporting, audit preparation, and internal controls. The role also provides financial insights to department heads and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports
- Present monthly financial packages to the Board or banking partners




- Coach accounting staff and allocate reporting-cycle responsibilities
- Manage external reviews, GST and PST compliance, and fixed assets

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related discipline
- CPA designation or equivalent
- Five to seven years of progressive accounting experience
- At least two years supervising or managing accounting teams
- ERP proficiency and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
