As an Applied Scientist, you will research, develop, and deploy models that understand intent, context, and conversational entities. You will adapt foundation models through instruction-tuning, in-context learning, structured generation, and retrieval-augmented generation. Your work will support communication features used by millions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop language intelligence for calls, text, and email
- Reframe NLP tasks as LLM-native applications
- Build summarization, smart replies, and context resolution




- Optimize models for multilingual and noisy communication data
- Define evaluation frameworks for quality, faithfulness, and latency

Requirements:

- PhD or master’s degree with four years’ experience
- Two years programming in Java, C++, Python, or related languages
- Production experience deploying NLP models
- Experience with named entity recognition or intent detection
- Experience applying large language models to NLP tasks
