Support instrumentation maintenance at Canadian Natural’s Horizon Plant in Fort McMurray through troubleshooting, coordination, and safe field operations on a 7x7 schedule.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will provide first-line support within Utilities and Upgrader Department operations. Your work covers daily maintenance, shutdowns, unplanned outages, planning, and coordination. You will oversee Mechanical team members and contractors while developing solutions for equipment integrity, availability, and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

- Attend planning meetings and review JHAs and FLHAs
- Develop and update procedures and preventative maintenance plans
- Coordinate activities with operations, engineering, contractors, and vendors
- Maintain work orders, drawings, parts information, and document control




- Complete permits and authorizations before releasing equipment

Requirements:

- Five or more years’ process analyzer or instrumentation experience
- Alberta Instrumentation Journeyperson or Interprovincial Red Seal certification
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- CMMS experience, including MAXIMO, and Microsoft Office proficiency
- Solid troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
