Serve patients as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse in Winnipeg’s 3rd Floor Special Care Unit, using mental health expertise and clinical judgment.

The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority seeks an RPN or qualified RN for this in-person clinical position. You will provide nursing care, prioritize patient needs, communicate effectively, and work independently within the healthcare team. The schedule includes weekends and 12:00 to 20:15 shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide nursing care related to the clinical area
- Prioritize care for individual or groups of patients
- Delegate care appropriately and monitor outcomes
- Respond to simultaneous demands and changing situations
- Maintain concentration while managing frequent interruptions

Requirements:

- Graduate from an approved psychiatric or registered nursing program
- Maintain active CRPNM or CRNM registration
- RPN designation preferred for this position
- RN applicants need recent related mental health experience
- Complete Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certification within three months
