Diagnose and repair marine vessels in Sidney, BC, using mechanical troubleshooting skills and specialized diagnostic equipment. This full-time role is on-site.

Work with recreational and commercial vessels in a full-service boatyard environment. The Marine Service Technician maintains gas and diesel engines, outboard motors, generators, electrical systems, and propulsion systems. Experience with marine brands such as Volvo Penta, Yanmar, Mercury/MerCruiser, or Suzuki is an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose, maintain, service, and repair marine vessels
- Repair inboard engines, outboard motors, and generators
- Troubleshoot marine electrical and propulsion systems
- Complete inspections, overhauls, and routine maintenance
- Document repairs and maintain organized work areas

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent trade training
- Minimum one year of mechanical experience
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
- Valid driver's licence
- Eligibility to work in Canada and full-time on-site availability
