Lead risk and insurance work for Brookfield Energy in Toronto, applying Property and Casualty Insurance expertise and analytical skills. This full time position is based at Brookfield Place.

Reporting to the Manager, Portfolio Management, the Manager supports North American operating businesses. The work spans policy placement, acquisition due diligence, claims review, and risk and insurance strategy. Collaboration includes insurers, brokers, portfolio companies, subsidiaries, and senior leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support acquisition due diligence and onboard current assets
- Coordinate insurance and risk management activities
- Manage claims, correspondence, documentation, and complex matters
- Lead renewals, market submissions, and vendor management




- Audit programs and monitor risk exposure trends

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree and four to five years’ relevant experience
- Experience in risk management, compliance, insurance, or brokerage
- Knowledge of Property and Casualty Insurance coverages
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Ability to travel between Canada and the United States
