This Branch Manager Development
Program supports ambitious leaders preparing to lead Scotiabank branches. Participants complete three to six months of training, then receive placement within the defined geographic region based on business needs. The program develops knowledge across the retail network.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspire, lead, and develop diverse sales and service teams
- Manage workloads, customer relationships, branch goals, and performance
- Implement policies, procedures, initiatives, and operational controls
- Oversee regulatory compliance, security, and risk management
- Resolve escalated concerns and support customer-focused service standards Requirements:
- Effective sales management, leadership, communication, and presentation skills
- Knowledge of Retail and Small Business products and services
- Experience with people, performance, branch routines, and operating procedures
- Mutual funds license and Branch Compliance Officer education requirements
