About The Role
The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the month-end closing process, performing accounts reconciliations and analysis and supporting the team for reporting financial statements to Management. The financial analyst is also responsible for supporting the implementation of internal controls.

What You'll Do
HereThe tasks specifically assigned to the financial analyst may vary according to business needs. Without limitations, these may include:Support month end process and reconciliations within deadlines and procedures;Prepare monthly analysis of consolidated and non-consolidated balance sheet and income statement accountsUpdate monthly continuity schedulesPrepare journal entries for multiple entitiesParticipate in monthly financial and management reportingReconcile intercompany balances and resolve mismatchesDevelop new analysis to ensure accuracy of dataEnsure all transactions are recorded in compliance with GAAP and review of accounting coding on requisitions or invoices.
Develop and maintain accurate process documentationEnsure internal controls are applied as documentedAssist in the preparation of financial information for external auditorsSupport business partners in providing financial information or analysis as neededSpecial projects and other various queriesWhat You'll Need to SucceedBachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or finance. Pertinent experience may be considered in lieu.




CPA designation or in the process of obtaining one is an assetStrong analytical mindAttention to detailNatural propensity for teamworkGood organizational skills, management of priorities and timelinesExcellent communication skills in French and English (written and spoken)Problem solving and process improvement oriented.
