Lead healthcare construction projects supporting Unity Health Toronto’s GHG reduction goals across three hospital sites. Apply engineering expertise, budgeting, and coordination skills.

This senior position reports to the Director, Project Engineering & Energy. You will manage renovations, construction, and engineering projects while supporting decarbonization initiatives. The work requires project management, design review, construction coordination, and collaboration with Energy & Sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage construction projects, activities, budgets, and schedules
- Coordinate design reviews, tendering, inspections, and approvals
- Delegate work to engineers, consultants, contractors, and technicians
- Support GHG reduction initiatives with Energy & Sustainability




- Represent Project Engineering & Energy on hospital committees

Requirements:

- Engineering degree or equivalent bachelor’s degree
- Qualified Engineering designation preferred or attainable through experience
- Five years’ management experience in construction and engineering project management
- Knowledge of engineering, energy, construction, and healthcare standards
- Leadership, communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills
