Provide rehabilitation nursing at McCall Centre Rehab with critical thinking and patient-centered care on days and nights. This temporary part time role requires seven-day availability.
Trillium Health Partners seeks a Registered Nurse for its 120-bed McCall Centre chronic care facility. You will support transitional patients through assessment, care planning, goal-oriented interventions, education, and discharge planning. The work involves inpatient medical, rehabilitation, and complex care populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage nursing care and related clinical decisions
- Assess patients and contribute to individualized care plans
- Provide treatments, education, and family support
- Contribute to realistic discharge planning
- Support quality improvement and unit clinical leadership
Requirements:
- Graduate of a recognized School of Nursing
- Baccalaureate degree and current BCLS certification
- Current Ontario nursing certification or eligibility
- Recent inpatient medical and rehabilitation experience
- Critical thinking, leadership, and collaborative teamwork abilities
