Design overhead transmission lines from 5kV to 500kV at CIMA+, applying structural analysis and engineering judgment to utility projects.

As a Transmission Lines Civil Designer, you will support medium-complexity projects within CIMA+’s Energy & Resources team. Your work includes structural design, technical documentation, field engineering, and coordination under the T&D; Lines Leadership Team. You will contribute to infrastructure projects across Canada while developing secure, practical designs for existing and new facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design overhead line structures and associated facilities from 5kV to 500kV
- Perform structural design, analysis, and detailing for transmission structures
- Prepare reports, specifications, proposals, estimates, and test plans
- Coordinate design scope,



schedules, costs, and work packages
- Provide construction support, field reviews, and technical assistance

Requirements:

- University degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering
- At least five years of transmission project experience
- Proficiency with PLSCADD, CAD systems, and drawing standards
- Experience controlling design scope, schedule, and cost
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
