Manage SQL Server and Postgres databases for CIRO’s Finance Systems in a hybrid Toronto, Ontario workplace focused on reliability and security.

As a Senior Database Administrator, you will support enterprise data operations, complex integrations, and database resilience. The work includes SQL tuning, Azure hybrid connectivity, encryption, data pipelines, and incident management. You will collaborate with Finance, Support, Business Systems, and Development teams while communicating technical concepts clearly.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and optimize SQL Server and Postgres databases
- Support Business Central and related Finance System integrations
- Maintain encryption and secure connectivity standards
- Troubleshoot data pipelines and integration jobs




- Execute disaster recovery, backup, and restore procedures

Requirements:

- Five-plus years of hands-on SQL Server DBA experience
- Two-plus years of hands-on Postgres administration
- Strong SQL tuning, indexing, and optimization skills
- Experience with SSIS, APIs, ETL tools, and production support
- Knowledge of security, governance, audits, and Azure technologies
