As an Operations Supervisor with MVT Canadian Bus, Inc., you will oversee daily transit operations for the City of Barrie. The position involves direct supervision of Transit Operators, workforce monitoring, emergency communications, and coordination with maintenance staff. You will rotate between Dispatch, the Control Centre, and field operations while supporting contract, client, company, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review performance monitors and adjust services for on-time performance
- Assign drivers, open work, overtime, and daily operating boards
- Coordinate rerouting and emergency communications during service disruptions




- Supervise operators, attendance, performance, training, and discipline
- Inspect vehicles, conduct gate checks, and prepare operating reports

Requirements:

- Three years’ transportation-industry supervisory experience
- Experience supervising or managing unionized employees
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Ontario B or C licence with Z endorsement
- Three years’ driving experience and acceptable driving record
