Build low-latency robot communications at Mecka AI, connecting global sites with synchronized video, state, and control commands.
As a Teleop Platform Engineer, you will develop production real-time networked systems for robotics operators. Your work spans WebRTC, RTP or SRTP, QUIC or UDP-based protocols, video encoding, and latency measurement. You will also build interfaces and infrastructure supporting remote robot operation and training data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build real-time transport between robot sites and operator stations
- Measure and reduce glass-to-glass and command-to-motion latency
- Improve resilience through NAT traversal, adaptation, and reconnection
- Design operator interfaces for cameras, robot health, and workflows
- Record synchronized episodes and upload data reliably
Requirements:
- Three-plus years building production real-time networked systems
- Hands-on low-latency media transport and video encoding experience
- Experience measuring and reducing latency in production
- Robust TypeScript, Go, Rust, C++, or Python skills
- Comfort deploying software on remote Linux machines
Apply real-time networking, interface development, and latency expertise to Mecka AI’s global robotic teleoperation infrastructure.
