As a Heavy Duty Shop Mechanic, you will maintain Dumas’ fleet supporting project sites. Your work includes jumbos, MacLean bolters, scoops, utility vehicles, and drills. The position focuses on equipment reliability, safe operations, and reduced downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mining equipment issues
- Repair jumbos, bolters, scoops, vehicles, and drills
- Prepare new and overhaul existing fleet equipment
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
- Record repairs, inspections, and parts used
Requirements:
- Valid Red Seal or Journeyman mechanic license
- Three or more years of heavy-duty mechanic experience
- Solid knowledge of drilling and blasting techniques
- Excellent safety record and safe work commitment
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments
