Lead global Financials equity investing for OMERS in Toronto, combining portfolio management with Canadian Financials research leadership.

As Director, you will develop, launch, and manage a developed-market Financials portfolio within OMERS Global Equities team. You will also lead Canadian Financials analysis, delivering recommendations to the Canada portfolio manager. The work requires fundamental research, portfolio construction, risk management, and sound investment judgement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and launch a global Financials investment strategy
- Construct portfolios across subsectors and developed markets
- Monitor theses, valuations, fundamentals, and regulatory developments
- Present performance, positioning, and risk analysis




- Mentor investors and maintain market relationships

Requirements:

- 10+ years of fundamental public-equity investment experience
- Deep Financials expertise across major subsectors and markets
- Institutional portfolio-management experience with robust risk skills
- Financial modelling, accounting, valuation, Excel, and Bloomberg proficiency
- Exceptional communication and independent investment judgement
