The City of Mississauga seeks a Supervisor, Golf Operations to oversee effective facility operations and recruit, train, schedule, and develop golf staff. This permanent position coordinates programming, clinics, camps, and third-party instruction while managing pro shop services, inventory, rentals, POS systems, and revenue tracking. The role supports community engagement through golf programming and ensures policies, procedures, and safety standards are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

- Direct pro shop services, merchandise, inventory, purchasing, pricing, and displays
- Create tee sheets and manage reservations, POS systems, and reconciliations
- Supervise recruitment, training, scheduling, and development of golf staff




- Coordinate programs, clinics, camps, and instructional opportunities
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, operational issues, and facility challenges

Requirements:

- University degree or college diploma in Business Administration or PGM
- Current PGA of Canada Class A certification and five years’ experience
- Valid Smart Serve certification or willingness to obtain within six months
- Current Intermediate First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid driver’s license and flexibility for weekends, evenings, and holidays
