This contract Class 4 Power Engineer position supports Shearer's Foods' food manufacturing operations. You will help maintain effective equipment and processes while following Alberta safety codes, procedures, policies, and regulations. The work includes utilities monitoring, maintenance, repairs, and PLC controls.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor alarms, gauges, and plant operation instruments
- Maintain daily utilities operation, maintenance, and safety logs
- Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting
- Repair production machines,



baggers, conveyors, and related equipment
- Take corrective action to prevent equipment or system failures

Requirements:

- Class 4 Alberta power engineer certification
- Two years managing and troubleshooting boilers
- Mechanical and analytical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts, extended hours, and weekends
- Availability to work 40 hours weekly
