Lead 1Password’s Device Trust Platform team remotely across Canada and the United States, using infrastructure expertise and reliability leadership. Guide systems supporting trusted devices and secure enterprise access.

As Engineering Manager, you will lead senior and staff engineers responsible for data pipelines, storage systems, infrastructure, and application code. The team operates multi-region services with Tier 0 reliability expectations. You will own availability, incident response, capacity, architecture, planning, design reviews, growth opportunities, and hiring while reporting to the Senior Manager, Engineering for Device Trust.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, coach, and grow senior and staff engineers
- Own Device Trust application reliability and resiliency
- Define SLOs, error budgets, monitoring,



and alerting
- Run incident response, postmortems, and remediation
- Guide multi-region failover, capacity, and architecture planning

Requirements:

- Three or more years managing software engineering teams
- Infrastructure experience with high-volume data systems
- Multi-region operations, failover, redundancy, and availability ownership
- Production observability experience; Datadog strongly preferred
- Hands-on development and strong technical judgment
