Senior Accountant Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada (On-site) Industry: Food and Beverage Services Work Setting: On-site (12 months Contract - Full Time) Are you passionate about accounting, financial reporting, and driving accuracy in a dynamic business workplace? We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a fast-paced finance team on a full-time, 12-month contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to work across complex financial reporting activities, support international accounting requirements, and collaborate with multiple business functions to enhance financial processes and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities: Prepare, maintain, and review financial records in compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. Support management with accounting analysis and guidance related to a variety of financial transactions and business activities. Manage reporting and accounting activities related to foreign exchange and other financial instruments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Partner with departments such as Treasury, Finance, Tax, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to understand business impacts and provide financial insights. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes,



internal and external audits, and statutory reporting requirements. Provide accounting support for operational and manufacturing-related finance activities.

Contribute to process improvement, standardization, and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy. Analyze financial data and recommend improvements that support informed business decisions.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent) is an asset. Minimum 5 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or corporate finance. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, and reporting practices.

Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Effective written and verbal communication skills. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally in a team-oriented environment. Demonstrated interest in process improvement, technology adoption, and continuous learning.
