Turn footage into polished advertising across social, digital, and broadcast as a Senior Advertising Video Editor at The Kitchen. Toronto hybrid work includes Tuesdays and Thursdays onsite.

Reporting to the Executive Producer, Production, this editor partners with Producers, Creatives, Account teams, and brand stakeholders. You will craft everything from :06 cutdowns to :30 commercials, adapting work across platforms while supporting the agency’s in-house post-production capability. Food and beverage experience is relevant.

Key Responsibilities

Craft story, performance, pacing, structure, and creative execution

Adapt edits across aspect ratios, specifications, and platforms

Participate in pre-production and editorial planning conversations





Perform stock music searches and recommend creative direction

Collaborate with colour, audio, VFX, and finishing partners

Requirements

Seven-plus years in agency, production, or post-production environments

Professional NLE experience and contemporary workflow knowledge

Robust proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop

Comfort with light colour correction and grading

Ability to manage priorities, timelines, stakeholders, and approvals

Use creative instincts, technical precision, and platform-aware editing to deliver considered advertising for The Kitchen’s brand partners.
