Insight Global seeks an experienced Heat Transfer Subject Matter Expert for engineering-domain leadership throughout application modernization. You will bridge legacy engineering science with the modernization team, reviewing thermal analysis, heat exchanger design methodologies, and calculation workflows. The work includes collaboration with technical, development, quality, and Honeywell engineering stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze legacy calculations, formulas, assumptions, workflows, and outputs
- Explain engineering methodologies to software-development teams




- Translate domain logic into functional and technical requirements
- Validate modernized calculations for functional equivalence
- Support root-cause analysis when results differ

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering discipline
- 10+ years in heat transfer, thermal analysis, or exchanger design
- Deep knowledge of thermodynamics
- Experience reviewing complex engineering calculations and technical outputs
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
