Financial Analyst — 7 Month Contract

We’re seeking a hands-on Financial Analyst to provide maternity-leave coverage. You’ll support an established finance team with recurring analysis and reporting, using existing models and templates.

Responsibilities

- Support monthly forecasts and analyze variances against actual results.
- Prepare management reports and clear commentary on financial performance.
- Maintain financial models and reporting templates in Google Sheets and Excel.
- Partner with accounting to investigate discrepancies and understand invoices and accruals.
- Build presentation materials that communicate key findings to leadership.

Requirements

- 3–5 years of experience in FP&A;, corporate finance, or strategic finance.
- Strong financial modeling and spreadsheet skills, including lookups, SUMIF,



and INDEX MATCH.
- Sound accounting knowledge and experience working with accounting teams.
- Solid communication skills and the ability to turn detailed analysis into a clear, high-level story

Pay Rate

$45.00 / Hour

Location

You must currently reside within the Greater Toronto Area and be permitted to work in Canada to be considered for this opportunity.
